China Association of Automobile Manufacturers: New energy vehicle market share reached 32.8% in August

 

The latest data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers today (11th) shows that many economic indicators of my country's automobile industry continue to grow. Among them, the market share of new energy vehicles reached 32.8% in August, exceeding 30% for four consecutive months.

 

Data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers shows that in August, my country's new energy vehicle production and sales reached 843,000 and 846,000 units, respectively, a year-on-year increase of 22% and 27%, with a market share of 32.8%. From January to August, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 5.434 million and 5.374 million respectively, a year-on-year increase of 36.9% and 39.2% respectively.

 

In terms of exports, in August, 408,000 vehicles were exported, a year-on-year increase of 32.1%. From January to August, 2.941 million vehicles were exported, a year-on-year increase of 61.9%. Judging from the overall performance of the automobile market, from January to August, my country's automobile production and sales completed 18.225 million units and 18.21 million units respectively, a year-on-year increase of 7.4% and 8% respectively.

 

The relevant person in charge of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said that the country has recently introduced a number of measures to promote automobile consumption and stabilize industry growth, which will help consolidate and expand the stable and positive development trend of the automobile industry. It is expected that as the effects of various policies continue to appear, and the automobile industry is about to enter the "Golden Nine and Silver Ten" sales season, major car companies are also constantly launching new products, further releasing market demand.
